- Wear loose fitting clothing after your spray tan is applied. There is a cosmetic bronzer in the spray tan solution that may rub off slightly onto your clothes, but comes out easily when you wash them.
- Wait at least 6 to 8 hours to shower or get wet including, washing your hands.
- When you take your first shower, the cosmetic bronzer will wash off. Don’t be alarmed, it is not your spray tan coming off. By this point your spray tan has already developed.
- We recommend using a mild shower gel as an alternative to bar soap. Use your hands to lather onto skin and not a wash cloth or loofah.
- When you dry off after your shower, pat your body dry. Try not to rub your skin because this will cause your skin to exfoliate faster and your spray tan will not last as long.
- We suggest refraining from exercise until after your first shower. Perspiration can hinder your spray tan’s development and can lessen or diminish the final result.
